How do I sell themed funds or shares that I'm invested in?

To sell an asset, go to your ‘Portfolio’ in the NuWealth app, and tap on the asset you would like to sell. Tap ‘Sell’ and decide how much you want to sell: you can enter a specific amount, or tap ‘Sell all’ if you want to sell your whole investment in that asset. 

For Standard Accounts (as long as trades are placed before 14:30) this will be processed at 15:00 each day; we only trade once a day on our Standard Accounts (enabling us to keep the account fees low).

Please note, trades placed on ‘The Adventurer’, ‘Fly the Flag,’ ‘Bond, Global Bond’, ‘Slow and Steady’ or ‘The Balanced’ need to be placed before 11am on a working day in order to be processed the same day. If trades are placed after 11am, the trade will typically be processed on the next working day. However, please be aware that all trades placed on ‘The Adventurer’, ‘Fly the Flag,’ ‘Bond, Global Bond’, ‘Slow and Steady’ or ‘The Balanced’ can take up to four working days to complete.

US shares are traded on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) which is open Monday-Friday (excluding US bank holidays) 9:30 am to 4:00 pm New York (NY)/Eastern Time (ET). This is usually 14:30 - 21:00 UK time but is subject to change according to daylight savings time. If you place your trade outside of market hours, you can expect your pending trades to complete when the NYSE next opens.
