How do I sell my stocks on Instant GIA?

To sell an asset, go to your ‘Portfolio’ in the NuWealth app, and ensure ‘Instant GIA’ is selected. Tap on an asset > tap ‘Sell’ > ‘Sell all’ > review and confirm. Repeat for all held investments within Instant GIA.

All shares on our Instant GIA are traded on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) which is open Monday-Friday (excluding US bank holidays) 9:30 am to 4:00 pm New York (NY)/Eastern Time (ET). This is usually 14:30 - 21:00 UK time but is subject to change according to daylight savings time. If you place your trade outside of market hours, you can expect your pending trades to complete when the NYSE next opens. 

Please note, Sells on Instant GIA may take slightly longer than normal due to increased volume; however, the price will be secured at the point of sale but the funds may not be received for 2-3 business days.
